Decorating Introduction
Christmas is a very liked holiday all around the world. A big thing people do when it comes around is decorating their house with Christmas lights and decorations. Some people like the holiday so much that they decorate their house really early in October. Not thinking about the two other holidays that come before Christmas. The timing some people decorate before Christmas are the times where there is Halloween and Thanksgiving. So for Halloween when you are walking around you see Christmas lights on some houses and it’s not that time. Then when it is Thanksgiving you see even more decorations coming out and again it’s closer to the timing and better timing than in October but it is still not that holiday.
Decorating Stance
There should not be houses decorated for Christmas in October. Think about it, you are walking around for Halloween getting candy and you pass a house that is decorated for Christmas. That isn’t right because again it is not even the month for Christmas, it’s a whole different holiday, and there is still a whole other holiday before Christmas comes. I love Christmas and it’s my favorite holiday but in my opinion it’s like December is Christmas’s month. I feel that that’s when you should start seeing Christmas decorations around town.
Solving Problem
People can decorate their house for any time and for any holiday whenever they want. There is no way you can really solve this problem of people decorating so early. The only thing you can do is just ignore it and worry about your house being decorated or not, on your timing. Also when thinking about it a lot of people love Christmas time and it is a very popular holiday. So you have to put that into play when seeing houses decorated so early.
View of Sides
Houses being holiday decorated in October seems a little crazy to me because there are still other holidays before Christmas even comes. There are other people that think that there is no right time to decorate for Christmas though. There are also others who chose to not celebrate certain holidays, so they might decorate their house early for the ones they do celebrate. So with seeing houses being decorated so early there are just other mindsets. Who have their reasons for decorating their house at what time they chose.
View of Sides
Most people start decorating their house the weekend after Thanksgiving with their Christmas decorations. Some other people usually wait until mid December. I feel like the weekend after Thanksgiving is a better option to start. It allows for a good transition between the two holidays, Christmas and Thanksgiving. To see the other view, others think that decorating early for Christmas can bring a lot of joy and help set a festive mood. Making the holiday season feel even more special.
Conclusion
While the excitement for Christmas is understandable, decorating in October can overshadow other two important holidays before it. It can also lead to making the actual Christmas season feel less special. By waiting until a little bit later in the year, we can fully enjoy each holiday on its own time. Lets try to keep the festive spirit alive by enjoying the season at a more appropriate timing and pace.
